Each knife in the Guede series starts as a single piece of alloyed steel, beginning with hand forging and continuing through more than forty separate steps in the production process before completion. The handles are crafted from hard olive wood which resists moisture and exhibits a beautiful grain, giving each knife a unique elegance.
The Guede Alpha Olive Santoku Knife is assimilated into the typical Japanese chef’s knife. Whether for fish, meat, or vegetables the Santoku cuts everything without effort. The Santoku Alpha knife has a Granton edge that helps ensure that food does not stick to the blade of the knife.
